basically i'm making a short entertainment show for my uni course and need a bit of land where I can throw my mx5 around, do some doughnuts and stuff legally. does anyone know of anywhere that lets people do this sort of thing? airfields etc... I only need the space for about an hour.

Ah sick, at Uni I will be doing something similar hopefully. I'm doing Creative Media TV and Film level 3, the commercial has only just been finished but I will defiantly link you up I am so proud :zainy:

umm not really legally but when me and my mates want to do that sort of thing we go up our local park and ride. all the cars have gone by 8 ish so we just have a blip around there for an hour, and the car parks huge. Its probably not legal but at least its off the road and when all the parked cars have gone we don't really have anything that we could damage apart from a lamp post or a fence etc.

go and ask the owner of a unit if you can use his carpark after they close.
there is a big fishing place in doncaster with an empty unit next to it and a massive carpark.
i just went in and asked him if i could after they close... he said be careful but yes.
gave him a four pack of fosters the next day.

Theres a few beaches I know around the country you can drive on. might not be best for your car, and you didnt ask for a beach, but pendine sands or whatever it is in wales, one near formby which you can bomb around.
