Ok im very confused right now..

A friends 1.1 mk2 saxo didnt start for whatever reason. When he started it later, the clock had reset and the mileage also, back to 885 miles LOL! so now its most probably the lowest mileage saxo britain, what has actually gone wrong, and what can be done to cure this odd problem lol?

new set of dials by the sound of it, some where along the line the dials memory has been corrupted by incorrect voltage

some cars have the ecu record mileage aswell as the brains in the dial's but not in this case because if it had been logged in the ecu it would of reset and put the dials true

Saxo's dont. Mileage is stored on the clocks only.

LSOfreak

nothing much to do apart from buy some clocks with a similar mileage on them i guess, would be cheaper than getting someone to alter the mileage

its only gonna matter when it comes to the next mot and reselling it etc..

i personally think its pretty cool to have the only saxo under 1000 miles  lol

no it wont matter tat the mot, nor when they sell it, it only matters if you try and sell it falsely declaring the mileage.

Friend of mine paid £30 to have his mileage changed. Its not that expensive and most will come to you.
