hey im wondering if some one could help me will a phase 1 vtr manifold fit my phase 2 vtr :) ???

Yes it will & it`ll de-cat your exhaust in the process mate.

its a 2001 mk2 and the exhaust manifold.

If you mean the standard mk1 exhaust then yes it will fit but need to relocate the oil filter, aftermarket manifolds may or may not foul the filter depends which one..

Can buy a kit quite cheap that has everthing to do it, think bedford126 on here sells them

Remove original oil filter housing from the block then you need to tap the oil return hole with an m10 tap and block it up with an m10 bolt, you then need the threaded insert to screw into the block for the metal type filter to fit onto.. I think thats all but there is a guide on here somewhere if you have a search
