Going to have to be my winter alloys, as they were a steal and unique!!
Other than that I would say my redbull steering wheel horn/center cap :drink:

its completely pointless but its just the novelty of having a button to start the car in a saxo lol amazes everyone
nothing special for the exhaust. Its a 4inch peco jap can, and a decat pipe. Pops and bangs after every gear change when its warmed up :D

Either lowering or my mani and Saxsport exhaust..... Wouldn't say it's quicker with the exhaust on it, but it does rev a bit more freely and sounds awesome!

favorite exhaust system ive had, of many, was a toyosport 4/2/1 and supersprint. Just sounded so nice!
OMP steering wheel looks nice.
Favorite mod ive done overall is put sierra cosworth running gear and engine into a p100 pickup truck. pretty simple conversion, but made for a beast of a truck!
lowering always makes a big difference.

On the saxo the exhaust combo of piper mani, supersprint race de-cat centre section, piper back box! So loud but so good and flames.
On the bm the coilovers as they just make it look sweet.
Overall has to be exhaust though on any car, just makes it more fun to drive.

Lowering probably, did love my deep dish steering wheel not sure why i sold it!
Such a h00t to drive the sax is, really alot of fun engaging drive abit of lift off oversteer understeer on a damp slippery road, the rawness great fun!

or my ballin' fake momo wheel.

14th December 2012, 06:05
Flywheel or brembos on the saxo probably was the best things.
For the 200 probably electronic boost control was the most fun, transformed the car tbh. Soon it will be engine swap though ;) nothing transforms a car like doubling its bhp

I think my favourite modification on my old sax was the custom front grill. I've never seen it done before and think it transforms the front end of the car.

Hmmmmm tones of the mods where fun but thinking back on them all most where not good ideas. Probably best thing I have done to a car that actually made it better as a road car is take off the way to big stock wheels on my old C2 GT and stick a set of base model 14" steels on. The car was much nipper for town driving, massively improved MPG, Made for a much better ride, Was even quicker ( yes really top end and acceleration according to GPS ) The already good brakes where even better, It gripped far better in the wet, It was infinitely better on snow and ice and rubber was far cheaper to replace for it. Bigger is defiantly not always better.

Ah yeah I looked at them but don't think they did them in the size I needed. Went for some Fedima Extremes in the end, same tread pattern as the Insa Turbos but better quality.
