Hi guys, I have a two tone saxo and I need help choosing what's wheels to put on it?!? I currently have the standard VTR wheels on and I wouldn't mind some help (possibly with pics lol). I've been thinking about VTS wheels but everyone has them. I'm lowered 40mm atm wanting to go lower though! Possibly thinking C2 GT wheels but any suggestions welcome!

Cheers

Depends what you want, tyres for the larger sized 15 and 16 inch rims are more expensive.
Plus theres weight to consider too along with 16 inch rims and lowering you'll have scrubbing problems
I personally like 205 gti 1.9 wheels on a saxo

aren't the vts tyres cheaper because of the stupid 185/55 profile on the VTR wheels? CT2 GT wheels will require spacers + lower won't be possible.

Yeah the tyres are a silly size on vtr wheels so gettin em really cheap are hard! Yeah C2 wheels were just a suggestion but if I can go lower thats out the window lol. I might go for a quirky colour on them as well so bright 205 gti/vts wheels might have to do!

The VTS wheels are too heavy. The following thread may help you - Ultimate wheel thread (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=354371)

If its lightweight you could sort out some rallye steels, or 14 inch VTR spares. Or go for the C5 "steel" wheels if you need 15 inch

Best size for alloys is 15 inch i think with 195/45/15 tyres.

But if your car is a 1.1 you will find it rubs abit in the rear arch but can easily sort that with a hammer and chisle on the arch wall where it is rubbing. Thats what i did :y:

It's not, it's a vtr lol.

but as said, 15's with 195/45 tyres. Is your vtr already lowered?

Yeah its a 1.6 vtr and na it not lowerd all standard at the moment but I've heard you can put 16“ with a low profile tyre on it looks good but heard it doesn't handle as well with that size also how much could I lower the car buy if I put the 15“ 195/45 wheels on thanks for the help :)

Silver vts wheels. Just leave the 8vs covered.
