EDIT:

Does seem fake now I look at it again, the baby is motionless and looks almost doll like during the eagle encounter.. and then the camera goes off the baby which I guess is where it is switched for the real kid..

its fake. A university CGI project. I guess they got high marks for it :D Apparently its not a golden eagle in the vid.

It is a golden eagle mate,i`ve worked with them & its a tame bird.As you can see the jesses dangling from its legs as it circles.They are big enough to carry off a small child as they can quite easily carry a lamb or a young deer.

All the good videos on the Internet are fake, unless you live your life looking through a video camera your never guna capture anything like that eagle kid attack. Still a great clip. That last clip is just crazy!! I hate people that live in cool places I'd love to be able to walk out my front door put on my snowboard, grab my eagle n nail it through some sick powder!! Bastard!!
