I am not looking to spent £70 when I can spent just £20 with a good selection of tools to replace these little things.

How do I go about doing this though? In a vice, and smash the old ones out?

What do I need to do to fit the new ones?

Do I lap them in with grease? Or do i just lube the wishbone and then knock them in?

End result of be tight and not paying a garage to push them out, 3 hours and hammering later :homme:

Worked though just cleaned up the inside and bit a copper grease and viced it back in.

Be fine since last april always check when weekly checks are done on the car.

Edit: Tools used hammer and chisel and a vice.

a place near me does FAI wishbones for £40 a side. Maybe not OEM quality but they aren't bad at all

Fuckin hell that looks like some effort! might give this a go on my old pair when I get bored for a few hours though wouldn't mind a polybushed set of wishbones.

It was a bit lol, but if you can save money and do it yourself why not :D

only takes 5 mins to remove if you have a blow torch, heat around the edge of the ball joint then smash it with a hammer drops straight out.
