40mm Torsion Bar Lowering

Just wondering how many teeth do I turn the torsion bar on a VTR, to lower it roughly 40mm.

that's not how you lower it correctly.

Remove the bar completely and raise the trailing arm by 40mm, then slide the bar back in (it will fit in a certain way round)
