Newbie 1.0i to VTR

Finally signed up to this site. Used to have a 1.0 Spree but upgraded a bit and purchased a VTR! Big difference. Just thought I'd make my first post and ask..is anybody's car decatted? If so, does it make the car sound a bit shit? Mines is and theres a wee grumbly noise coming from the front (nothing major), but just wondered if anybody else's is and if the sound of their car also affected. THANKS

if u want it to sound nice but not to loud buy a air filter i put one on mine bit blowy in first but throught the gears it sounds nice

The grumbly noise could be either the fact it's blowing or something is metal on metal.

If you want rasp go decat :) and grumble will most likely be blowing

removing the cat will just make it a little louder, it wont be causing a grumble noise.
That is a problem that you should look into.
it could be anything from the description you have given!
