new alloys on my saxo

hey guys this is my first ever post.:P
will upload some poics of my saxo later.
just a quick question about my car

i have recently tried sum 195/50/15 alloys on my saxo but they scrapped the torsion bar on the back.
i want to upgrade them to the alloys in the picture.
they are 185/60/15 or 14
i just want to know if ill need spacers on these at all my wheels are currently 165/65/r14:panic:http://http://www.partsgateway.co.uk/nnm/images/nnm_1129.jpg

what model of saxo do you have?

What offset are the wheels you are looking at?

If they were scraping on the torsion bar i.e. the anti roll bar plate on the inner arch then some spacers would sort that. Though the tyre size wasnt optimal you should have used 195/45/15's

The correct tyre size for them would be 195/45/15. Even if you have a non VT kitted car the rubbing can be fixed easily.

185 55 14 tyres

185/55/14 for vtr alloys without any problems.

195/45/15 for vts alloys without problems.

If they scrape at that size youve got problems surely cos thats like a standard size :S
