Facebook hack?

Just wondering how hard it is to hack facebook. Had a lot of trouble recently in my personal life but not going to go into that.

My face book account has been closed for years and recently I keep getting texts from my mates sayin "that was harsh" and stuff like that. When i ask them what was they say what you just said on facebook. Now I have logged into facebook and changed the password 3-4 times now and each time the same has happened. Changed it to random words and numbers still the same.

Try changing your email address password as well

Done both mate. According to facebook there is no way to permanently delete the account.

there is a setting when it emails you every time you log on to fb. may give u an idea or not on who is doing it. not sure if it gives a location. change email . I deactivated mine a month ago and was activated again 2 weeks later so I changed email and deactivated it again

Email address password is another one to check mate, also check your computer for any spyware etc.

there is a setting when it emails you every time you log on to fb. may give u an idea or not on who is doing it. not sure if it gives a location. change email . I deactivated mine a month ago and was activated again 2 weeks later so I changed email and deactivated it again

I had a similar sorta thing before Christmas with text messages from a pay as you go mobile but with help from a friend at o2 and a base ball bat (I didn't hit any one.) that problem was sorted.

try going on fb click on the cog wheel icon thing on the top right hand side, then account settings, then security. take it from there.

Not directed at you, but am I the only one who will not let an app have access to my shiznit. I just never use them and keep my account completely free of all that junk.

You could have a Keylogger or you have a housemate who uses the same computer & you've not logged-out.
I had a mate only last week come-out after 30+ years that he's gay & does not give a shit what others think.After about 30 posts from mates & family saying it's ok etc he then places a comment saying go fuck yourselves it was my boy that posted the story after using my details :-)

All fun now.

I've got the the setting so whenever you log on from an 'unrecognised device' such as you logging on your work comp it will ask you to write where youve logged on for future reference then sends you an email. Pretty handy.
