i was working on my car today (Vts) and i took the battery off and hazards flashed once...thought notthing of it then after that pluged the battery back in and they flashed once again then i got in the car shut the door and they started flashing loads then they stop and start again no alarm noise while this happens so i found the clicking of the hazards and unpluged a black box what is the box for and is it standard? if so do i need it and how do i stop the hazards going off while im driveing?

i took it off because it was the only way to stop the hazards going off when the door was opened or shut guessing it has something to do with motion sensors?

There is a lad in eBay with a brand new one for about £50 don't quote me on that as only see it there last night anyway all you do is unplug the alarm box and plug the new one in that easy as the remote key is run by the central locking really so would already be programmed in to the car if ya like anyone one else with alarm problems then get under the dash pass side look up on the side of the heater and ya see a black box with two plugs on it held in with a rubber strap just remove the box and ya problem is fixed :) just ya lose ya alarm
