I have been offered a job working on a military base in Germany for 9 months of every year selling cars to military personnel.
Has anyone ever worked on any military bases and what is it like?

I have once or twice. Guessing army lads can tell you more, but be on base gym and pool I would think free of course, bar, cheap food. I'd go for it

I did for 9 years, but drove home every night.
I would go for it though, sounds a good enough job

it sounds really good, i get a company in the u.k and germany, 20K a year all expenses paid all i need to pay for is food and clothes while im there.
im only 20 so would be a great job and if i was single i would jump at the chance but the gf is not so keen about coming with me and would leave me if i go without her so in a predicament :/

more than likely a room in the block with the singleys then. and in germany i would prepare for some drunken antics.
not just weekends either, pretty much every night in germany.
ideal if your single
not so ideal if your not single lol.

I wouldn't wanna take my gf onto a base full of pumped up army blokes who haven't seen their lass for a while

If your missus blocks it tell her to do one. You are twenty live a little! I'm sure as a civvy living on base the accommodation will be better

Tell her you are going and that it's up to her if she stays here or goes with you but either way you're going.

So are you a chartered or certified accountant? Not bad at 20 to be as high as you can go (apparently).
How long did it take you to work your way up in accountancy? Must have started young?

sadly no qualifications. I started with the company a year and a half ago with just me and boss and now were at the top of an office of 40.
I train myself up on a new area, teach and manage a team and then move on to the next thing.
but my boss refuses to pay me anymore money for the work i do and he isnt really planning to expand anymore so i think its time to leave.

So your an office clerk not an accountant.
I'd be off to Germany in your position mate, at 20 with no qualifications what's keeping you here other than a bit gash?
