Was wondering about the process of fitting a non power steering rack to a Saxo VTS. I heard stockhatch use non power steering racks on there saxo's but am clueless about what needs to be done. Complete steering column removal or...... any advice.

Pain in the arse lol
Rack needs swapping easiest with the inlet manifold off tbh
You may need to swap entire column and rack as some differ plus non pas racs are slower with more turns lock to lock
Just strip the pas off in the car

You need a non pas steering column as it about 2 inches longer.

As Alex says just take the pump and pipes off, drain the fluid, block the holes off then you have a non pas quick rack

I did this today, i'm sure it feels a touch heavier than a normal Non PAS car, but that could be because its also pretty quick too - Just a case of getting used to it i guess..
