My mate says that you don't earn no claims if you have a company car, I think u do...can anyone clarify? I thought it was normal insurance that you sort out

Some do some don't depends on the company and the sort of insurance the company pay for.

Most company's just insure employees on a group policy to drive any of the cars they own so more than likely you wont get any.

As already stated, depends on your company's policy.

I am on the company policy - I can drive any vehicle owned and operated by my employers. But that is because I am employed as a driver. If I was employed as anything else, the policy wouldn't apply. I don't earn any NCB because it's not my policy, it is my employer's policy, I am just a named driver.

Wife's company just gave her a confirmation of her ncb as we're coming off the lease this month. So yes - some do give you ncb, others dont.

look at the policy as some company do some dont have a look best thing to do is check with your company or the person that took out the insurance.

You will find that the majority of the time they don't give you and ncb, but many companies will be able to give you an intro discount providing you can get a letter to prove it.
