I'm hoping someone on here can help, I know its not a saxo but people on here seem to know their stuff..

I'm having problems with my Corsa starting, it cut out on me when driving and I had to be towed home, since then it hasn't started. Ive noticed there's a brown sludge in the head of the engine, Ive read its quite normal but I'm mine its everywhere like all over the cams? Is that normal? Its also making a whistling noise when trying to start. I've changed the crank shaft sensor but that hasn't done anything. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction?

Here's a pic and video of trying to start and the brown sludge.

Thanks in advance.

Does the brown sludge bot mean the head gasket is on its way out or is?

Ive read about this, as far as Im aware it creamy for the headgasket, the brown is something to do with condensation?

just looks like the muck caused by condensation but how much is there? depending on the engine whip the cam cover off (check its the kind of engine you cam remove the cam cover on without fucking the timing up as I dont know these engines)

Im taking the cover off tomorrow to have a look at the chain and clean it, it may be that bad, it seems like its eveywhere when looking through the oil cap hole, any idea on not starting though?
