Same rate!! Work benefits!

so i got to work this morning and theres sweet fuck all to do. i have an interview in leicester at 3:30 so needed burn some time until then. (including why im doing this thread)

exhaust has been blowing its bag off so off to local motor trade suppliers and picked up a gasket set with pins springs and wire gasket for £6.00 :y:

got back to work and i have no jack!! :wacko:

so i called in the help of the forklift and some pallets for under the wheels.

anyway half the office were out having a look at wot i was doing and when iv returned to my pc i have an email with an attatchment reading "same rate" lol heres the attatchment-

im on the same hourly rate as soon as i walk through the door know matter wot i do.

im actually a junior design engineer but we have no work so just finding things to pass the time.

forgot to mention im a contractor. so i dont have any of the usual benefits of being cards in i.e pension and holidays.

Whatever I pay into my pension my work treble the amount and put it in also.
I get free golf and full club membership
The use of all the hand tools in the garage.
The use of the mechanic and ramp, plus things like puncture repairs, services etc I can do with the garage tools on hand.
I get paid full pay even if I get sent home due to weather.

Once mine and Ryan's salaries are deducted there's nothing really left in the pot for the club, save for the occasional new banner or whatever.

I had this with my old job, turned up 9 hours a day and ended up doing an hours work if that as I delegated all day. Would defo go back if my job now doesn't work out

When it rains we just go sit in the workshop mess room whack the TV on plug phone in and watch a film off internet, been doing this a lot lately.

Take my car in the workshop or just have use of it whenever i want no matter what time of the day as i have keys and alarm codes and permission to do so.

can order parts for my car , girlfriends , family though work and charge it too the Golf course as i don't take a company car which i could have. (obviously not going overboard no lowering kits ect..)

Meant to start at half 6 but start at half 7 and meant to finish 3:30 but 3-4 times a week finish at 2 oclock.

always have a break from 9 till 12 if theres fuck all to do or just go out to have a fry up lol

i have it so easy but there is bad sides too it but maybe only once every week.
