View Full Version : Major Wobble Under Braking

I'm having a problem with my saxo. It appears the rear brakes are sticking on potentially due to the load valve on the rear over compensating or stuck on :n:

Anyhow, when under braking I've got a mega vibration coming from the front end that violently shakes the wheels.

All of the brakes were changed around 3,000 miles ago at the most and the fronts were upgraded to 266mm's.

Any help would be great.

Just a note, one of my driveshafts has started vibrating so could this be causing the severe wheel wobble?

Could possibly be a knackered wheel bearing, that can cause a wobble.

warped discs, can you feel it through the pedal?
Or have you used the wrong driveshaft - a non-tapered to tapered mix up with cause horrendous wobble via the bearing
Load sensor in the rear wont be affecting this, it'll just make the rears lock up before the fronts

Cheers for the suggestions mate.

The brakes were replaced all round however one of them is sticking on, I think the drivers rear, I even bought a new rear caliper from Euro car parts and it's still doing it.

I'm not quite sure whats going on but the car feels shit to drive at the minute, just going to buy a new drivers driveshaft and see whats going on.

Could be a wheel bearing as you say, although theres no humming noises coming from it
