Quick one really,
Is there a correct way up for the springs?
Changing my struts over and rebuilding them with spax shocks I've got lying around, which way up are lowering springs meant to actually go?
They seat fine either way but the part with the closer together coils should be on the top or the bottom?
Or does it not even matter?
Cheers

i always put them with the tighter together coils at the bottom but i dont think it really makes a difference.

I usually do the same with the tighter coils to the bottom anyway
Springs are gmax but I guess ill just stick to what I usually do, just wanted to check really
Thanks guys

When fitting them if they're upside down they lean massively off one way sat on the strut, spin them upside down and they sit straight so I guess that's the right way lol

Was going to say that's how i tell, had to change a spring on my bro's 206 the other day which was black, no writing and looked the same either end, but as you say they lean off at an angle when they are the wrong way round
