I was looking for a fix for my locking and found a few threads of people experiencing the same problem.
Basically I swapped the internals from my remote fob into a new case and after a few days it stopped working so I replaced the battery and no luck.
Turns out the new case has a battery slot that is slightly bigger than the standard case so I had to push the battery against the two terminals and that solved my problem and it works perfectly now.
Just thought I'd share this as I'm sure it will be happening to others as well and this could solve your problem.
(Apologies if this is the wrong section if so feel free to move it to the correct one)
