how do i pop my exhaust,?

hi just got myself a magnex cat back system, its not much differnt to the old standard system if i may say soo... i have a raceland 4-1 manifold to go on, if i put the manifold on will it allow me to make my exhaust pop and bang? or will i need a decat?

Yeh for sure. Then blow the baffles out the backbox for maximum effect lol

Magnex are by far the best sound, you are right they are nice and subtle on tick over and half throttle low revs, but give it full throttle higher up the revs and it sounds incredible.

What saxo have you got btw?

1.4 westcoast mk1, it just sound quiet, i brought it thinking it would pop n bang, but after a few people telling me to shut the f**k up i stopped trying, just really want it to be noticible,

My westcoast used to pop tiny flames on gear changes. Not many westcoasts do, and when they do they will do it when they want where as with a vts you can almost guarentee it on every gearchange.

i had a quicky, well still do but with a 16v in it now but on gear changes, letting off, just revving up etc it used pop and bang like no tomorrow with some seriously loud bangs!
exhaust system was a simple decat, straight through and piper back box :)

Id change the backbox. Theyre the more 'subtle' backboxs imo.

as are scorpion imo i used to have a 3inch scorpion and it sounded no different to standard.

open cone air filter made mine pop like mad, put a enclosed on and it stopped :y:
