Right, I've got 2 12" JBL 1202Ds and 1 12" fusion subwoofer, they're all in seperate sub boxes ATM, should I build a triple sub box? Cos the two JBL don't sound that great... But the single fusion sub almost destroys my garage... I have 3 amps, one mono SPLx 450W a fusion 600W 4 channel and an edge 400W 2 channel, also, on the fusion sub it had its own power source and it needed a special connector and that was a pain in the arse. What should I do? Buy one? Make one? I just want some really good bass.
Got this http://di1-4.shoppingshadow.com/images/pi/70/80/8b/79853818-260x260-0-0_Fusion+FUSION+EN+AB1120+360W+Bass+Reflex+Tube+wi th.jpg
And I suppose you all know what the GTO1202Ds look like.

Right basically, your Fusion sub should not sound better than the JBL's. My advice would be to sell everything apart from the 2 JBL subs, then just buy a better amp that matches the power of your JBLs.
No point having 3 subs especially if one is Fusions and all running off miss-matched amps.
Fusion/Edge/SPLx are pretty poor makes.

So keep the two JBL enclosures? It's just when I had the fusion wired up it actually sounded SOOO GOOD. But these two JBLs sound quite shit...

My fusion amp is set for the two JBL ones, 600W they are 300 each, they just don't sound good.. There's nothing wrong with them they're pretty much new and everywhere I look people say they're amazing

itll be the amp letting the jbl subs down not the subs not being great
as said
sell everything and keep the 2 jbl subs, invest in a decent amp and away you go

The Fusion amp will be 600w max which means nothing. Go off RMS power.
It's deffo the amp as those JBL's should blow away that fusion sub.

Really? So what sort of amp should I get! I'm on abit of a budget cos I'm
Getting my manifold next week. Pissed off cos I thought that fusion sub would of been good. So you're saying, those two JBL subs will be mint with a good amp? I hope that's true otherwise they're fucked. Thanks for the help muel

Yeh if they are in working condition you could blow away a fusion sub with just one!
Go on car audio security website for amps, you may get away with a mono amp but I'm not sure what load those subs take or if they are svc or dvc.
I'm on my phone aswell so cba.
Or even eBay for a second hand JBL amp, a lot cheaper than buying new

Here's the spec http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/4027.html
What amp should I get? JBL one? Mono? What W?

Since the JBLS are dual 2ohm voice coils heres how i would suggest you wire them to show a 2ohm load to an amplifier:
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/images/woofer_wizard/2_2ohmDVC_2ohm.png
so you are looking for an amplifier that will output 300w RMS at 2ohm's. Mono prefered. You can buy one that will supply 1000000w RMS at 2ohms if you wish, adjust the gain to bring the amp back inline with the subs.
