Silverstone d1 drift

here are a few pics from yesterdays action, this was the first time i had photographed a motorsport event and so was trying out my panning shots. i think they came out ok, i was only using a 300mm lens so couldnt crop as much as i would have liked to but let me know what you think. Dave is you could give me some tips :)

man i love the norris desisgn Evo. so god dam sexy.

Good pictures mate. I really need to learn how to take high speed/movement pictures.

good work Jim, you haven't done anything wrong, maybe go down a stop or two on the shutter for the 'drift' shots.

cheers dave, yeah was using the 10d, i wanted a 20d but i couldnt quite afford it 6 months ago and i needed if for my college work so had to settle with the 10d

that norris evo is an animal. you realy do need to see it in the flesh to apreciate how fast it is.
