I'm trying to replace my handbrake cable and it won't come out of where it is mounted in the caliper. Haynes says to use a hammer and a punch but I don't have a punch so I've been trying with the metal part of a screwdriver but it won't budge!
Any suggestions?
I've got work at five and need my car :(

I mean the hole it goes through on the caliper, not the bit that the very end is clipped in to..

Not hitting it hard enough, thats why you need a punch as a screwdriver is probly dosent have enough surface area.

uch, I guess I'll have to go get some. I can't think of anything else I have lying around that would do
