engine revs dropping problem

i have had a problem since i done the engine swap on my vtr, only when the engine is cold the revs take ages to drop from 2k, as if the throttle cable is too tight but i have checked countless times and the throttle cable isnt too tight, what else would cause this? it never used to do this, only once i swapped the engine :n:

There's a thread on here that shows you how to clean out all your throttle valve and stuff, that is meant to sort your revs out, im yet to do it but im having the same problem as you with the revs n' all. Ill see if i can find the thread.

cheers :y: cant see that causing me much trouble though as i have only recently put the engine in and everything was cleaned before it went on including sensors and stuff
