flat side towards the engine block IIRC pokey end toward the block
just use your eyes when taking things apart like that and remember to take your time and remember how it goes back together simple ;)
and i ment GEARBOX FOR POKEY END NOT BLOCK THAS A 'MY BAD' FAIL

Trust me people manage to fit them wrong and dont realise until they either warp the clutch by tightening it down with the friction disc in the wrong way around or when they start the car and realise they have no clutch and a horrible noise :fcuk:

usually bending the fingers on the pressure plate LOL do each bolt up opposite to each other (like top left bottom right etc) and only nip them up then tighten them all up after and no fingers will bend or nowt warped trust that easy done :)
