gaz are reasonable for the money. They arent shite by any means

whats your budget and what do you want to achieve with your car?

Its not gonna be used on the track or anything but I want a nice handling road car with a nice stance. What are ohlins?

Budget wise, Between 900 and a grand but 450 of that is being used for a refurbished rear beam.

Ohlins are a rather overkill. Top of the range motorsport stuff!
First how low do you want to go? Why do you want coilovers when a standard lowering kit will be cheaper and less hassle as the adjuster rings wont seize up from dirt, salt and lack of use

As kam said. Get a normal sports suspension kit. If you want hardcore coilovers get the rally design kit and some group n dampers with monster springs.

Good point. might be better with a good suspension kit. Im thinkin about 50-60mm drop.

Hmm. All the big names seem to be coilovers.

What is the best suspension kit to go for?

Ive always had bilstein but don't know if there's a better kit to go for.

spax/eibach/apex are the ones to look for

if you only planned on goin 50-60mm then a spring and damper kit will be fine

coilovers may be a bit pointless and expensive if you arent going on a track or arent going particularly low

What Lso said I have fitted a lot of the above kits now at 50-60 and never had any problems and the ride is pretty good. Coil overs are fine if going lower or you are wanting to set the car up for track but other than that they are overkill for 50-60mm.
