ok currently I am paying around £2,000 for insurance on my Citroen Saxo Desire 1.1 52 reg (6,000 miles on teh clock when I took out policy and 4,000 value) with Adrian Flux. Most of the high insurance was caused by being 17 and on a provisional. And that was 3rd party!
Now, almost a year on, I just got a quote from Quinn Direct of ... drum roll ... £816.17 still on 3rd party but I'm a careful driver and also have a lack of money.
Anyway I'm very happy with that

bloody hell 2k for a 1.1!!
Much more sensible quote now mate ..... well done!
well that's all declared as well lol, it was 1800 when I first took it out and that was cheap compared to the rest of them, £1500 this and £3000 that. Moral of the story is check insurance before you buy a car haha :drink:
