Car wont idel at all!!!!

strange problem i have... i can only start my car if i have my foot on the accelerator, when i pull up to lights it stalls.... any one have any idea what it could be?

coil pack not getting the right spark maybe or idle speed motor (basically try and find a way to get the automatic choke working properly)

i have recharged the battery tonight also, this has happend befor and then all of a sudden went away :s now its back..... basically happened when the batt died.. also i dont hear the fuel pump cut in either when i turn the key
