found these on ebay when clicking around, sound rather good for price but as you guys are more up on these things worth a ask as to whether they would in fact be any good to help the sloppy gearing

I had this problem too, replaced two of the linkages which looked old and rusty and also replaced the rubber bushing that sits at the bottom of the gear lever, that got rid of the excessive play I had :)

Can't see why they wouldn't be any good. They are not the hardest things to make. Just make sure they are the correct length before fitting or will cause problems.

Often the best thing for the sloppy knob is Change the roll pin then the selector ball and arm then the bushes on the bottom of the stick shaft.

I have Constella ones that look like those and Kamracing ones.

Much better then the old linkages. My gear changes are more smooth, "direct"?.

Im sure standard replacements wouldnt be any different either.

well these say its metal on metal no plastic wear was gonna take a punt on the 30 quid but was checking

Take the punt they are basically all the same anyway's. Just put some grease in the cup before fitting.

They look OK, but I cant see why any one would want colour coded linkages seeing as you cant see them

The slack is normally in the long shaft under the car and the pivit bit bolted to the bulkhead.
i would recomend changing the lot and the link ages. there is a guide on here some where
