Anyone know this car?? Ive just picked her up!

Mileage seems oddly low for the age of the car....

Have checked the MOT history (on the dvla site) and the first MOT was in 2006 and the odometer reading was 2 miles..... Any ideas?

Im not really worried to be honest, got it cheap and miss having a saxo!

I never really fell out of love with these things and cant wait to get started on her!

I wouldn't worry too much, it is unusual to have a mileage of 2mile's on it's mot whilst being a nearly 4 years old in 2006 :fcuk:. Maybe its an error on the dvla side or it could have been clocked lol. Does it have a service book to show this low mileage in 2006 aswell :y:

does it not put you off buying it by how poorly written the ad is?

Yep I would not buy a car off someone who doesn't know the difference between 'off and 'of' (is it really that hard?)

Overall, it seems very dodgy with the mileage and the fact the seller is illiterate.

It may have been sat about, or been a dealership show car or something

Or it may have needed some work for its first mot (remember they don't get one till being 3 years old)

And got some new clocks fitted

They spelled 'Citroen' wrong on a Saxo ad...

Haha, yeah I have to admit the advert and grammar is terrible and I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole if it wasn't super cheap, and immediately available - which is what I needed.

I've been driving her around for a few days now and all seems good so far!

There is some serious camber going on on the rear drivers wheel, which may be the rear beam, but not too much of an issue if it does need doing!

New grill is on the way, and currently looking for a decent set of VTS wheels & tyres.

Other than that an effing good clean and a full service and she should be a good'un (the bodywork is mint!)
