No they do not warp in the heat.
And yes they are less than 1/4 the weight of the steel bonnet.
And its Dan-Subtle who is selling one on here drop him a pm.

For a daily mate fibre glass is probably a worse idea imo its more likely to get damaged and cost more to repair if its chipped or dented by say a roge football or somin else stupid

What? Do you realise the force that would be needed to dent a fibreglass bonnet? If anything its a better material for daily use than steel as its more resistant to pretty much everything.

HA :wall: so it apears i have been wrongly informed rather badly my bad. ive neve really had any experience hands on wise with fibre glass parts. ive only once made something from glass fibre and i believed it could crack more easily so then dent and if damaged was harder to repair. my apologies

That's why there is a huge difference between home kits and professionally made glass fibre parts.

aahhh i see my bad :) so really fibre glass is reasonable oponent to say carbon fibre.
annoyin that ive only just discovered this as i had the change of a fibreglass bonnet when i had mine killed last year and decided to stick to steel
ive still not found one but im gonna leave bodywork till later in the year and get mechanical upgraded ;)

You will soon find a bonnet the same colour as your car if you look on ebay..
