View Full Version : Newbie from stevenage ( 106 GTI )

Hi everyone I'm new to the site been on 106 owners for over a year now but not much happening so thought I would check out this site as it seems to be where everyone is going.

My names is Jason I'm 22 and from stevenage area my car history is

Peugeot 106 quiksilver (first car)
Volkswagen Golf 1.8T
Volkswagen golf 2.8 v6 4motion
Peugeot 106 S2 XS 1.6 8v

I have never crashed any of my cars just sold them as I got bored or found a good deal on another car.

My current car is a peugeot 106 gti which I paid a fair amour for but is mint and I got it on 19,700 miles with 2 previous owners or being from new the other for a month.its now on 21,200 miles and only has a pugsport and a upper strut brace. I wag to mod more but the car is so fresh I might just keep it standerd. Anyway ill uploads pics ASAP

Welcome to Sax-p!!

Ahh well that's a shame. Everyone on here loves a good crash story, preferably whilst inappropriately speeding past a school.. ;)

You should definitely keep it standard-ish. And please don't put a "fresh as f*ck" sticker on it! :homme:

Don't want any trouble but mines better than yours lol. I haven't seen another one in hitchin do you drive it much? I'm LV52 bog standerd woth a pug sport. Are you the one with rallye vents ?

Yes the rallye vents, you had the quiky with the blue wheels, you've finally decided to join the big boys and get a GTI.

Yh that's me I am only rolling reading mine to see what power it's at as I haven't done any mods yet but will be a good day ill see you there

Yoo, I dunno if you guys have a better or cheaper place to buy parts but both of my wing mirrors are aftermarket ones that were on the car when I got it, so looking through the internet via ebay and the other ones, I actually found aep direct, I got original wing mirrors for about £45 a pair including postage. I just figured id share this info as even ebay were charging about £30 each without postage. Im now downgrading my saxo to its original state lol.
