Trained chest and triceps today.

I usually finish my last set with press ups or dips till failure but today the bench was being used so I done 4 sets of dips beforehand. Couldn't press the weights i normally do but it seems to have torn my arms up.

Does this work?

Size rather than strength gains obviously.

Pre-exhaust is a type of technique of doing the individual muscle group before the compound exercise so it will work your triceps a lot harder, your triceps will develop more by doing this. Same as if you're doing biceps before back etc :)

You pre fatigue with isolating exercises. E.g for chest, flys before presses.

I do this every other session, enjoy it.
