can any one help
i was driving home tonight from work when the engine auto diagnostic light come on, what does this mean and will i be able to drive to work tomorrow without the worry of breaking down?

have you tried starting it again & are there any unusual noises?

as soon as i disconnected the battery the light went off i am just worried that something is wrong with the car. Also i have notice that today it has been acting like it is miss firing as i pull away but not but dont know how to discribe it exactly :)

yes disconnect the battery resets ecu:), has it been serviced recently?.

it was serviced september last year but i have checked the air filter and its fine and i have checked the plugs too

yeah the look fine would the idle control valve have any thing to do with it as it is stalling when i come to a stop when driving?

hey have now changed idel control valve and is reving up and down what can i do?

Dear kellywilds-saxobob,
I think you will most probably need to " reset " your new idle air valve. I am not sure how you do that, but I am sure someone, with a greater knowledge than me will be along soon to advise you how to do that:y:

To reset the icv turn the ignition on/off 6 times without starting the car,then take it for a run.
