i got some pioneeer TS-E 1396 speakers today.

in a stroke of genius my brother decided he would do this to them....

the tweeter dome thing in the middle in punched in and there looks to be a pin prick in it too. it seems to sound ok, but im a little pissed off really. is it ok?

should be ok mate, do have to be carfull with the dome part tho.

should be ok as it is mate..... however as u have just bought them you could take them back and say you got them like that..... just to be safe

put some bluetac on it gently and pull it back out

use a hoover on it suck it back out if that hole ent too big shud work

think I've got an o/s lense lying about, if you have any probs getting them sorted let is know, not your mth like, speaker then light

Your not having too much luck with deliveries are you!? send the speaker back dont try and repair something which shouldnt need repairing!! Plus it will probably start to crackle and distort alot earlier than it should.

One of my mates did that to thje cone on my speaker in my room, the easiest way to get it out is to use one of those pumps that puts pressure into pressure containers when you lock them, you can just suck it out no worries. And thats really bad service by city link:fcuk:

i might take you up on that. although some of the blackness has beens scraped off by the broken glass and some chrome is comming through.
