Just thought I would say hi.. Great site by the way... I've upgraded my Saxo to a VTS last week from a Furio, and so far so good, much, much better, just got to be good and not boot it till its run in... Anyone know what I should stick to and for how long? I dont have the manual yet (hopefully picking it up this weekend). Also what is the button with a green backlight on the centre console (looks like it should mute something), it doesnt appear to do anything.

Cheers

Hey newbies, welcome to sax-p.

Nyami are you sure you're not talking about the cigarete lighter! smileys/smiley2.gif lol.

The limit I think it should be to keep it under 3000 revs until you do the 1 month/1000 miles service and then you can build up after that. Thats what I am "supposed" to stick to while running in my C2 Vtr so it should be about the same for the saxo.

ooops... 3000 you say... well 4000 isnt much more... Damn its sooo hard.. think a long trip is required... As for the button, I wasnt able to light my fag from it so I conclude that it might not be a cigarete lighter, but i'll keep trying smileys/smiley2.gif .... I think it has something to do with the alarm, I managed to get the alarm LED to flash, I'm thinking its to disable the ultrasonics???

it might be... does it have any symbol on the button? I ask this cause my saxo was a 1.1 and didn't have anything like that! (no alarm as standard)

Yeah, the symbol looks like a mute button on a remote control, best guess so far is the alarm thing, sort of makes sense....
