Well, every other forum in the world has one of these threads. So why not?

Today I fitted my wheel to the mx5, and booked the welding for the 29th.

Tried to make it non-Saxo specific as not many of us have them anymore!

Actually how they're meant to look, weird I know but they're much roomier than the other ones with arm rests. Kind of a must for anyone over 6ft

How often do you people actually wash your cars? Mine has been washed once since I bought it last April, and even that was by the hand car washes operated by all manner of foreign speaking individuals... I also cleaned the inside, with actual cleaning stuff. Once.

Don't, that's a horrible mental image of me crushed in to a fatty and them rolling down a hill like a giant snowball, you know like you see on cartoons when people get swept up by them and just kind stuck on them? That's what I'm imagining.

How it's meant to be, don't think mine got cleaned once in the 1 and a half years I had it... I hoovered the inside when I gave it to my brother though I think.

Probably should of used a wider range of time really e.g week or month, most people on a random weekday will just drive their cars to work and back lol

I picked my wheels up from being machined and dropped them off to get tyres on

Well considering there's a 189 page topic on mx5nutz and a 40+ page over on edition with the same format - it would appear that it's just this forum with no progress lol.

Shouted and swore at it for being French (and therefore as reliable as the British summer), contemplated selling/breaking the fucker and then went over to my mates to get some of the problems sorted. Slightly less angry at her now I guess.

They're not massive problems (clutch release bearing making a horrible noise, driveshaft/CV joint knocking and EML light on) but it just pisses me off when it's not running spot on. Sorting it out in this shitty weather is no fun so doesn't help, either :n:

Drove it to meet my cousin on his lunch break.

Wound the window down so that I could shout abuse at a retarded woman (well I'm assuming it was a woman as she was wearing a burkha) that decided she wanted to change lanes without indicating or even looking almost wiping out my passenger side front!

Suffice to say she just shrugged her shoulders and wouldn't look at me.

Urgh that reminds me I need to clear out the passat soon, it's practically a rubbish tip on wheels whilst also being a mobile tool box.

I'll have a tidy up at lunch.

Should wash it, it's covered in motorway/snow/ gritter jizz. Too cold and it'll be like I never bothered first day back at work. Instead I removed my stereo and satnav to make room for an AVIC-F930BT which should come today.

If it doesn't then I have a gaping hole in my dash!
