when you push down on your rear end, is the bottom end of the shock supposed to lag behind the movement of the trailing arm? im suspecting it's the cause of clunk on my nearside as this doesnt happen with th driver side. bushes do look old n cracked a bit. need some definite answer before getting new shocks

cheers

Not sure about the shocks, but the rear beams normally clunk when the ARB is loose, have you checked they are all nice and tight on the end plates?

If the shock and arm move at different rates the bush is fucked

I would say the bush has gone too.
I had a wheel that was clunking and vibrating up and down when one of the bolts got untightened!
Jack it up and give everything a check
