Hi all,
My drivers side driveshaft needs replacing. As a novice is it difficult? As I'd like to give it ago myself. What tools are needed if so?.

best to change the oil that you drain but you could reuse it. 2l of 75w80 is so cheap though it makes no sense unless its very recent

Why oil?
Well when my shafts got changed so did my oil. I guess it will run out as soon as he pulls out the shaft?

only if you dont drain the box first but then thats common sense really

There's an intermitiate bearing in a carrier you need to undo on the drivers side, so once it's out the hub don't start ragging it
