Film at Redcar!! Photos

Hi would have put it in the photo area but felt it was pretty 'general'.

Part of a new film starring keira knightly is being filmed on Redcar seafront. The film is going to be called Atonement and is based mainly on Dunkirk. Here are some photos from the set. The large boat pictured was lifted by a unbelievebly large crane!!

Yeh you ever been to the little chip? apparently been there forever lol obv not literally forever but a v.long time and it shows!! Chips are well nice and sometimes havenice young ladies behind the counter;)

the film is being filmed in redcar mate, hence the whole set been in redcar.

Not sure where Gimsby has came from?

They chose redcar because they needed to film on a beach that had the industrial background with it.

My mate is being an extra in the film.

Still dont get where Grimsby comes David?? nobody in here had mentioned it untill you did. The film is being filmed in Redcar, not Grimsby.

I think this Grimlooking sby is in a place called Engerland.I'm not 100% sure where that is either.I think Hitler tried to Invade it during the 1940's but got lost as France....Ohh well...

went down yesterday to see what the crack is as i know two of the extras and i was expecting gunshots and explosions but there wasnt :( just stood there for an hour watching a guy do nothing on a motorbike :(
