As the title suggests, I'm pretty new to all things mechanical. Bought a Saxo two days ago and noticed it had a flat tyre. Stupidly I loosened to wheel nuts with my foot whilst it was jacked up and handbrake was on. I heard a clicking noise but thought nothing of it. I went to drive it away and the wheel was making a clicking noise as I drove and felt like it was sticking. I jacked it up again and took the wheel off, properly this time. When you turn the drum it sticks and sound like a spring inside is scraping it. For the life of me I can't get the cover off. I've taken two bolts out the back and tried to take it off but not happening. Any suggestions????

With it being the brakes and you saying that you dont have much mechanical sense, im not being funny, by all means, mess with the car, take bits off and put them back on, learn and enjoy working on the car, but take it to a garage to diagnose and sort the brakes.
Wheels need to be done up tight, brakes need 100% mechanically perfect as does the steering.
You wont have damaged it undoing the wheel nuts but i would aviod undoing nuts and bolts willy nilly on the brakes trying to get them off.

its the hub nut which is behind a metal cover you need a flat head screwdriver and its in the middle of where the wheel bolts to and as what m4tt said take it to a garage to fix as brakes are your life line if you damage the pipe your gunna crash as i did when my piston seal went on my prev saxo and i ploughed into a house luckily only wiping out my saxo but when it comes to brakes and steering if your not comfortable with it take to a garage
