Hey guys, thinking about going away with the rents to the U.S. Early June, Any body been there before? If so does anyone have any suggestion on places to visit?

So far we'v got:
Grand Canyon
Yosomite
Death Valley
New York(purely because its New York, is there actually anything interesting there?)
Ohio(to see family)

Unfortunately I'm not 21 until July so the likelihood of getting boozed up and spontaneously wedding a tranny in Las Vegas is next to none. :homme:
And seeing as I wouldn't be able to gamble there, would there be much point in going?

Cheers!

Start in San Francisco and drive down the coast to LA. Plenty places to stop in between. Great road trip and if you wish you can cut into the desert to go to Vegas its only a couple of hours from LA.

If you stay california coast you can head down to san diego and mexico if it takes your fancy.

I would love to visit Yosemite one day! Just an idea but I've allways loved the look of this place aswell, driving though must be pretty cool!

I don't think it's actually too far from Yosemite either.

And ofcourse Monument Valley:

If you have the ability to go for a Heli Tour at the Grand Canyon. Go for it. We had an one hour flight and it was amazing.
Vegas is a lot of fun even when you can't gamble. Lot's of stuff to see there and the rollercoaster in NewYork NewYork is quite cool. If you decide to do Vegas, go to Death Valley aswell. It's awesome, but bloody hot though.

Anything West Coast is nice aswell. San Francisco is a very nice city. We did a trip on the West Coast aswell, lot's of nice places to visit, and quite a lot of encounters with cool animals.

The heli tour is a bit expensive though. It's like $1000 for 4 persons. Still totally worth it. One of the best ways to experience the Grand Canyon.

When you're in Yosemite, there is a viewpoint at the top aswell. If the skies are clear it's worth it.

Some other things that might be worth it:

Dead Horse State Park

And i'd say don't do flights. Just use the highways. Some parts get a bit dull but other parts are truly amazing.
