Hey
Im 21 in a few weeks so decided to get a quote as if I was 21 now with 2 year ncb and licence held for 3 years. 1 single driver claim.
Elephant my insurer came back with 1, 400 for the year. £50 less than this years price.
Any tips on how to get it down?
Iv already tried "car parked street overnight" instead of in the garage that took me from £1, 600 to £1, 400
Any thoughts?
I drive a vtr

Not a promising start :(
How old do you have to be to get third party fire and theft ? That takes it down to £1, 200

Insurance doesn't really drop until you hit 25 and even then you still need 5 years NCB for a decent price on a Saxo.
French 'hot hatches' seem to be expensive for insurance no matter what.

Even with 5ncbs this year no points/crashes i've had quotes of £600 TPFT and Comprehensive £750
I defo will be phoning around for a quote. Ideally cheap enough to pay off at once.

Yeah mine was that on the Saxo.
Dropped £100 with the Clio RS and then £100 more with the BMW.
Says a lot about Saxo's....
