my saxo VTR 52 plate is playing up on me again when im driving and if i leg go of the steering wheel sometimes it pulls to the left sometimes it goes straight and sometimes it goes to the right, any ideas on this??

Next problem when pulling away out a space when i turn the steering wheel the car makes a knock but only when doing that any ideas on this 1? also is that just had new wishbones and new drop links so i can possible rule them out

Last problem my passenger door just doesnt want to stay shut, i dont mean i pops right open i mean when im driving along it pop open but is still shut, this 1 has been baffeling me for a good few days now lol

i always thought tracking would only make it go 1 way? also surely greesing the door would make it open easier?

depends how bad lol, if the catch is stuck & it might be whats stopping it close properly, other than that a new door catch/lock.

Pull the strut off, *spring compressers* undo the top damper nut and take it apart from there really. :P

Way to tell is the bearing should rotate smooth/no noise. A knacknered one will be loose.

I parked up on the spot and got the lass to turn the steering full lock left/right and i heard the clunk. Got the torch out and had a look as it was turning but couldnt see anything but the noise was at the top being that, the bearing

Loosen the damper bolt off before you even lift the car off the ground, also not just take it apart unless you want a spring sandwhich lol :p

for door opening: adjust the catch which is on B pillar , if that doesn't help then you need a new door catch (the one in the actual door)

Danny how can it be adjusted ? I thought its only 2 torque screws holding the catch on?

Dear Mcgawn,
To adjust the door " striker " ( ie the part on the cars bodywork ) you will need to slacken off both of the two torx scews a little bit, and slide the door striker outwards ( ie making it nearer to the door ) you only need to move the striker about 1mm Max. once you have done this tighten your two torx screws and that should be job done. DON,T slide the striker plate up or down as this may make your door unable to shut at all:y:
I hope this helps,
Vince,
