GOES UP DOWN NO RED LIGHT FOR OVER HEATING ..

HOWEVER BEFORE YOU GUYS AND GIRLS TELL ME MY HEAD GASKET NO CHANCE LIKE SAID THE CAR FAN CUTS IN AND OFF FINE...
NOW THE SENSOR NEAR THERMOSTAT WAS CHANGE LAST YEAR BY MY SELF AND I KNOW THIS DOES THE FAN ETC
IVE STRIP THESE CARS CLEAN OUT AND ETC ETC ETC NOW IM SURE
its the blue lambo look alike sensor not the GREEN ONE that goes on top of exhaust .....its the blue one that controls the gauge on the botton exhaust ....that controls the clocks for temp can any 1 give me the advice im pretti sure its this onethis time thanks :bump::bump:
Car drives fine 100% must be sensor all wire s are good

Yeah its the blue sensor but it doesn't look like a lambda sensor and it isn't near the exhaust either.

cheers mate the sensor thats near the THERMOSTAT is for the fan correct?
the 1 going in 9pm t o3pm if that makes sence so its the one down the side of engine thats corrrect yeah :)
so the lambo sensor green and blue one that on the exhaust aint the one so what does the blue plug that goes on exhaust do ? thanks

Both sensors are screwed into the thermostat housing, blue sensor controls the gauge reading, the green sensor is the coolant temperature sensor(for the ecu)

Mine done this up until last week, I re-bled the system as it had an airlock.

Ok we'll had alook today shitty snow here the one that's above thermostat is green nearest to the front the blue one is down the side of engine that's the one I think that's needs chamfering because controls the gauge in the car is this correct

Did you change it for an identical replacement sensor? There's a few different types iirc.

Well I took it off another vts I have that's all I can say its 2 pin blue sensor. Is there any tests I can do ?
