newbie needs help

hi im a newbie when it comes to saxos and i thought id ask you guys for some help. ive got a 1.4 westcoast and my pas pump is leaking. do i have to fit the same pump or can i use one out of a vtr/vts?

Why not just buy the right one?

the reason is because i want to buy a used one as they are charging about 300 quid for a new one and the only used ones i can find tht look the same are for vts or vtr

get a second hand one from here. And yes you can use one from an R or S, they are the same although there are two different kinds with different filler necks

You can use any pump of any 106 or saxo - they are all basically the same. The only differences are the reservoir and filling neck - they came in both short (with the res built into the pump) and long filler options (where fluid is stored in a flexible filler pipe too). Either will fit, but best to get one in the same style as yours.

Not hard to swap over either :)

Expect to pay around £40 - £50 delivered for one second hand.
