Was in work today and all of the camera's were pointing the opposite direction because they were looking for somebody who stole the p.a microphone. Anyway long story short, no CCTV, no help from work and just a "you should of parked further away from the shop" so yeah work won't help me because someone has done this:

Was in the supermarket car park and not one camera was pointing on it! None of the managers or anyone can help (even tho one got their car done from the petty cash box a few weeks back!!) I literally only just got it lowered properly and put VTS wheels on it. I was thinkin new door but agen finding a two tone door will be hard. Gunna try poppin it out at the weekend see if I can have any luck.

Ouch :(

There are some proper twats out there man - feel for you! Only problem with getting a new door is that it's a two tone so probably not too easy to locate one AND it's silver which is always a bastard to match :wall:

Would definitely give popping it out a go mate!

What I was thinking, I'd say it will pop out but there's some sharp creases up near the window that will be there, bottom kit may bend back with a bit of heat on it though, may be worth a go if its fucked already..

29th March 2013, 22:49

what a cunt. And looks like damage from a biggish car considering the height of the top crease, but also the distance between that and the bottom crease.

The thing is, the parking space that backed onto mine was a disabled parking space and it was right outside the shop and i mean the very first parking space, so surely someone would of seen it!

I had it once, basically a truck sat on my bonnet, went to assess the damage and decided to take off. I was lucky enough to have a few witnesses who saw the whole stuff. They took the reg plate and they started going into the shops in the area until they found me.

The insurance did the rest, but that wasn't even the end just yet: the truckers' wife had the cheek to call me and tried to have me cancelling it all after the insurance/police had stepped in. She was rather rude so I was quite pleased to tell her it was already out of my hands, and not my fault to begin with. She still carried on with her mumbling so at that point I explained to her that the repair bill was £2500, not including labour, expert fees and courtesy car for the 2 weeks worth of repair. The police reported back that they knew him, as it was the fourth time he'd done that, so I guess she wasn't looking forward to their new insurance premium costs. Bunch of cunts got served.

Feel for you

The mother in law came out of work yesterday find someone has done similair to the rear arch/ bumper area on her Clio.

It's not bad enough to warrant a claim (unless the other person comes forward) but still annoying

Got to try and get a touch up pen for it to sort the scratches out

Lol veryunhappydudeuk! Anyway I've managed to slightly pop it out but it still looks gash! However thanx to Psyco18 for pointing out the two tone that someone was breaking on eBay I now have a replacement door. Quick question, is it easy to replace the door, not done it before

Saxdaniel
30th March 2013, 12:43
Should just be a couple of pins mate. It's changing over all the glass etc which is fiddly.

Exactly the same thing happened to me last winter, couldnt put he driver window down because the door was that badly caved in. Look on the bright side....the door can be easily replaced, lucky it wasnt the rear quarter or something.

The fact that the CCTV cameras were looking for someone who stole the PA Microphone would tell me all I needed to know about parking there.....

A significant amount of other drivers would drive off if they hit someone and nobody was around to see, its morally wrong but people do it and there is not much you can do unfortunately. Its a risk of owning a car, these things happen and you are relatively lucky Saxo parts are a cheap and easily accessible.

My MRS drives a 4x4 and I know full well she would drive off if she did something like this and nobody saw her. Yeah that's wrong and I personally wouldn't do that but everyone is different.

this happened to my saxo, some cunt reversed in to the door but lucky for you that your window wasn't smashed like mine was! cost £35 for a new door from a 106/ saxo breaker.
