Over the previous couple of months, the number of incidents and first aid calls I've had relating to this stuff is ridiculous.

Kids are actually dying on the stuff. One in particular had a heart rate of over 180 BPM when we got to her. Another case did unfortunately die shortly after reaching hospital.

People have no idea what is in this ''plant food". Yet we have at least 1 a week!

Any body use it? Can you enlighten me on why you'd use it?

But the people I know who use it only use it because its cheaper than coke gives them a better high and lasts longer.

Legal highs are only legal due to a loophole in the law regarding the make-up of a chemical. It enables manufacturers to basically doctor the molecular construction of an illegal drug, thus creating a new " technically " not illegal
chemical. Also, as above they slap a " not for human consumption " label on it too.

You don't know what they're adding, nor do you know what it's going to do to you. Many people see them as perfectly safe and i imagine many have taken then with no adverse effects, but is it really worth the risk. Fuck no.

Some people in this world need to be educated on what the word " legal " means.... In this case, it certainly does not translate to " safe ".

They made it illegal but you can still get it, the only reason why people turned to it in my opinion is because decent pills are practically non existent and fairly expensive, you used to be able to get 5 for a tenner and they would blow your mind. Now you can end up paying a fiver a pill and there total shit.

Trouble is, not all drugs make you happy as such, some of them, namely Cocaine, have an effect on some people that makes them supercharged, then along with that, super aggressive.

Combined with booze i think ( with some people ) Its one of the worst drugs available in terms of causing trouble.

As i said on page 2, all my mates who take it started off as a livener at events, then once a month, then once a week, then twice a week.....

and they all tell me, " naa im off it mate ".

3 things in common I see with people taking Cocaine.

They frequently lie about their usage.
They develop some sort of tough guy personality that they never had before.
They seem to hang around with other people who do it and get into more trouble on nights out than they used to.

On another note....
I don't actually see why Britain doesn't legalise weed. It doesn't make people fight like booze does and they could tax the fuck out of it.

People smoke it and will keep smuggling, growing and smoking it no matter what the law.

BUT, people will pay for quality. Sell it controlled like the dam does, and you've just under cut all these dealers who are selling the sandblasted shit on the street.
No demand, no smuggling.
People are less likely to search for it elsewhere, from someone who might also supply other shit.

Tried Salvia once, had a similar effect on me and you just lose complete control over everything for a few minutes, its strange. But I never felt right for the rest of the night.

I used to smoke weed quite often, I haven't touched it at all in about 6 months though. I'm neither for or against weed, but I could see the benefit if they legalised it. It does have its downfalls, but what doesn't? It will cut out so much crime, with all the drug dealings etc.
People who smoke weed are too lazy and laid back to get into fights anyway, So if it was readily available in a shop there would be even less crime, The smokers will be happier too. Who doesn't win here?

If parents opened their eyes they'd realise that their kids are probably more likely to try something that is illegal, for the excitement than something that is allowed ( with an age limit ).
The government wouldn't be saying " its right " they still could say they dont recommend it, but they could say " were controlling it to stop illegal demand ", undercutting thousands of people.

In one simple legislation you could make thousands of dealers go " no point in selling this then ".

As for the person saying nicotine kills more people than whatever is talking complete rubbish, nicotine in its purest form is highly poisonous yes but the levels that are found in cigs eliquid etc is highly diluted. I have figures of what the unsafe levels are somewhere, nicotine is about as bad as caffeine at normal levels.
I have 100mg liquid nicotine in my freezer at the moment for mixing up my own eliquid.

Agreed mate, different drugs are taken by different people and have different effects. Sometimes people have a tendency to generalise and tar everyone with the 'coke head' brush. When the reality is I've met some of the nicest, most honest, trustworthy people I know through club nights, festivals etc. It's similar to the way that there are so many different results from drinking. Some people are happy drunks and just out for a good time, some people get angry and start looking for fights. It's like being anti-alcohol and saying you'd never touch drink because you've seen people being violent and aggressive while they're drunk before! Who hasn't! It's only once you experience it for yourself with the right bunch of people that you can appreciate the difference and the reasons why. A bit of recreational drug use doesn't make you a scumbag. Being a scumbag makes you a scumbag! Just cos you might like a drink on a weekend, or maybe even get really pissed every saturday night, doesn't make you an alcoholic or a bad person. Just means you like to have a good time. No harm in that! Just for the record I'm not recommending anything to anyone but I took party drugs, legal highs etc most weekends for years through my late teens and early 20s, purely recreationally, and experienced the best nights of my life on them! And not once did I experience any trouble. Especially at proper organised events and big club nights where everyone has travelled miles for the music etc. Only trouble I've ever had is with drunk people out looking for it!

Whilst i agree with what you say, thing is, from what i've experienced, coke has turned nice people into cunts.

This is not just one occasion too, I've literally seen the stuff change about 4 different people in the same way.

1st it's a livener and everythings OK. Then they start hanging with other people who do it, distancing themselves from their usual pals. Then you hear about them getting into trouble in clubs all the time.... like " weekly ".
Then comes the tough guy attitude, which makes all their old pals not really want to have anything to do with them.

You also tend to hear " I'm off it man, it's a waste of money I don't do it any more", blaa blaa blaa

On one occasion, and I don't doubt this has happened before, a mates parents come chasing me asking me if he had been trying to sell a camera.
Obviously, I knew what he wanted the money for and so did they. He lost his job, got kicked out his house, ended up in jail........ and this is a kid with good parents, good bro's n sis's. He literally fucked everything up for himself.

It even got to the point he was nicking stereos from cars " on his own road ".

Its very destructive and whilst I agree, there are people who can probably control it more than others, from what I've seen I'd say a large amount of people who try it, do it again and again and again........

Whilst i agree with what you say, thing is, from what i've experienced, coke has turned nice people into cunts.

This is not just one occasion too, I've literally seen the stuff change about 4 different people in the same way.

1st it's a livener and everythings OK. Then they start hanging with other people who do it, distancing themselves from their usual pals. Then you hear about them getting into trouble in clubs all the time.... like " weekly ".
Then comes the tough guy attitude, which makes all their old pals not really want to have anything to do with them.

You also tend to hear " I'm off it man, it's a waste of money I don't do it any more", blaa blaa blaa

On one occasion, and I don't doubt this has happened before, a mates parents come chasing me asking me if he had been trying to sell a camera.
Obviously, I knew what he wanted the money for and so did they. He lost his job, got kicked out his house, ended up in jail........ and this is a kid with good parents, good bro's n sis's. He literally fucked everything up for himself.

It even got to the point he was nicking stereos from cars " on his own road ".

Its very destructive and whilst I agree, there are people who can probably control it more than others, from what I've seen I'd say a large amount of people who try it, do it again and again and again........

Yeah I guess coke is more of a mind alterer than some! One of the most addictive as well. I can honestly say I've only had it a handfull of times but when I have it's so moreish, you just can't stop! Doesn't go a long way either. Too expensive to get hooked on. Much prefer the warm fuzzy feeling of mdma etc too where you don't feel the urge to keep topping up every ten mins

I suppose that's the major factor is the addictiveness. Starts off innocent enough then before you know it you're far deeper in than you let on or even you yourself realise, as you say playing down how often you're doing it, then you can't afford it but can't be without it so end up stealing etc to feed your habit! Unlike alcohol where you wake up with no dignity feeling like shit and the last thing you want is another drink!

Same goes for the people not working, they're often dealers and on benefits. It catches up with them sooner or later though. Lose that sole source of income and he's suddenly got nothing, end up in prison then he won't have the option of talking to his kids every day. Won't be in much of a position to make fun of other people when it all comes crashing down! Looks 'cool' on the surface, like it's good money for doing nothing. I know I couldn't be arsed with that amount of risk every day though. Wondering who's at the door all the time. I like my sleep too much!

Made this thread months ago and its just getting worse.

Saturday just gone, I was at work. I went outside for some fresh air and heard a girl screaming. She was hitting some lad and then came running up to hugging me. She looked at me and said "You're a demon too" and ran away. At this point I decided to restrain her to prevent her from hurting herself.

Over the next hour or so, she was seeing all sorts. Clawed the hell out of me, attacked police and attacked my colleague. She also lost consciousness twice and when she did come around, she kept talking to some guy she was seeing on her shoulder.

Fast forward to today and she's still in hospital with severe and permanent heart and lung problems due to one hit on a legal high. She turned 15 yesterday...

Why the hell is anyone stupid enough to take this stuff? And why is it still for sale when its obviously being abused?!

While she was conscious, she asked me to call her parents. I called them from my personal mobile. The parents text me this morning asking if they could come and see at work to thank me. They bought me a card, a note from the girl, some chocolates and a present to say thank you.
