hi all.

the other halfs furio has developed an intermittent problem.

basicaly when driving along normaly it will cut out, all dash lights go out, no power steering, everything just completely dies.

i fiddled with the big red button under the bonnet and and played with the battery and eventualy power came back to the dash, clock came back on etc and she fired up.

but sometimes once you turn the key the power dies again and clock and all lights go out.

and occasionaly the box with the key orange warning light comes on flashing, even when the car is running fine it will sometimes come on.

anyone know what the problem could be or what to check? ive replaced the big red button under the bonnet with a known good one and hasnt made a difference so rules that out. only way to get it going after its cut out is fiddle with the positive battery terminal taking it on and off, can hear the ECU making noises and fuel pump priming.

anyone out there had the same issues?

forgot to mention it has an aftermarket alarm system, cant remember make but its been working fine and still works as it should. but when i disconect the immobilser the car still starts and drives fine etc but it wont lock? the alarm just beeps like normal but locks dont move.

not sure if that helps at all just throwing it out there...
